An evening of NLP with Olivia Horgan
Much excitement last night in Alvechurch when we welcomed Olivia Horgan into our CPD group to talk about NLP! Olivia is an NHS manager and trainer and NLP Master Practitioner and NLP coach. She introduced the group to the fundamental principals of NLP as well as some really interesting techniques and interventions. I felt excited and inspired to revisit the subject as it reminded me that there is a wealth of knowledge and many creative techniques that we can add to our therapeutic toolbox! Thanks Olivia it was a really useful couple of hours. What did others think?

Thank you, Olivia, for a really informative presentation. I particularly enjoyed the idea of working with sub-modalities.
Although I always try to match my clients vocabulary and turns of phrase, I have been much more aware today of clients’ preferences for either visual or kinaesthetic language (no auditory as yet!).
I definitely want to learn more about NLP – can anyone suggest a good book to start with?

I thought the evening was fascinating and was so inspired I have decided to pursue an Introduction to NLP course to learn some more. I found it particularly interesting that someone who practises NLP does not even need to know the content or the problem as such – that blew my mind! Olivia was knowledgeable and engaging to listen to – so thank you!
